Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the survey services provided by MouldSurveyPro. By booking a survey, you agree to these terms.

1. Who We Are

These terms apply to services provided by MouldSurveyPro, a trading name of Centre Retail Services Ltd, registered in England and Wales (VAT 213 6868 02). References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean MouldSurveyPro; “you” means the person or organisation commissioning a survey.

2. Our Services

We provide independent damp and mould surveys using a building-physics methodology — observation, calibrated environmental measurement, interpretation and reporting. Each survey produces a written report pack. Our role is to assess and report on the evidence at the property. We do not carry out remediation or repair works.

3. Booking and Payment

Our standard survey fee is £199 + VAT. The fee is confirmed at the point of booking. Payment terms are set out at booking and payment is due as stated on your invoice or booking confirmation. We reserve the right to vary pricing for surveys outside our standard scope or coverage area, which will always be agreed in advance.

4. Access and Your Responsibilities

To carry out a survey we require safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time. Where you are commissioning a survey of a property occupied by a tenant, you are responsible for ensuring the occupant is informed and that appropriate access is arranged. If we are unable to gain access, or if access is unsafe, we may need to reschedule and a charge may apply.

5. The Report and Its Use

The report is prepared for the commissioning party and reflects the condition of the property and the evidence available at the time of survey. It is based on the areas and elements that were accessible and visible during the survey. The report should be read in full; conclusions should not be drawn from individual sections in isolation.

6. Scope and Limitations

Our survey is a non-invasive assessment. We do not open up the structure, lift floor coverings or carry out destructive investigation unless specifically agreed. Our findings relate to the conditions present at the time of survey; building conditions and occupant behaviour can change over time. Where the survey is carried out in conditions that limit what can be demonstrated, the report will calibrate its confidence accordingly.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. We ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations or failed access with less notice may incur a charge to cover the booked time. Any cancellation terms specific to your booking will be confirmed at the time of booking.

8. Independence of Findings

Our findings are determined by the evidence at the property. We do not adjust our findings based on the identity or interests of the commissioning party. Our independence is fundamental to the value of our reports, and we will report what the evidence shows regardless of who has commissioned the survey.

9. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at mouldsurveypro.co.uk/privacy-policy. By booking a survey, you consent to the processing of personal data as described in that policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version is always available on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
